In 2016, my musical journey took flight amidst the vibrant sounds of the Heathrow greenhouses, and the gentle sway of boats powered by the sun. A unique beginning playing music for protests and eco-villages whilst living in an occupation to save a village from being bulldozed to build the 3rd runway, sparked a passion for overland travel across Europe where I intertwined my love for music with community and eco-social change initiatives.
These adventures led me to hitch hike a boat across the atlantic ocan to the wise landscapes of Brazil, where I learned from indigenous cultures and collaborated with talented producers, starting to release my music and playing more regularly live in conscious venues, communities and lands across the UK, Europe and South America.

Back in the UK, I celebrated the airing of an early single on the renowned Giles Peterson show which later formed part of my my first EP - GAFA, leading to more singes and my first album BABY LONDON.
Alongside this, continuing my journey performing solo and as a collective in gigs and festivals across the UK, and honing a unique creative skill of supporting people to sing together in gigs. Some of these spaces include Shambala Festival, Soul Revolution, Budhhafield festival, Big Green Gathering, performing with the National Theatre of Wales, the Woodland Trust and many more.

Driven by a desire to bridge the realms of art and activism, I founded Music4unity, a community music group that hosts workshops, gigs, and camps; fostering unity and creativity through the power of music.
Alongside big collective singing in workshops or at festivals, we have also developed various community theatre pieces that are seeding towrds a bigger production of a musical; Heathrow the Musical!
My journey has been a tapestry of experiences woven together by community rhythms, fireside connections, and a shared vision and belief for a better world.

In developing my creative practice, I aim to reach the full potential of my work as both a musician and facilitator, building the technical skills and artistic confidence needed to realise more ambitious ideas. This project focuses on deepening my trumpet playing, alongside developing recording and production techniques that allow me to capture music in community and outdoor settings. I will also expand my skills in community singing, choir leading and wider music facilitation, enabling me to work with larger groups and more complex arrangements. Alongside this, I will explore how these musical elements connect with theatre, developing my practice in writing and directing so that I can bring Heathrow the Musical into being as a fully realised piece of community-rooted musical theatre.
